O ano passado foram vendidos 6.000 ingressos para participantes, este ano contabilizou-se 9.000, comemora Michael Key que já prepara o próximo para a cidade de Nova York.Este ano os temas trabalhados para a competição dos estudantes foram "Avatar" e "Alice Wonderland". O prêmio para os vencedores este ano foi em dinheiro, produtos e publicação do trabalho do maquiador na "Makeup Artist magazine".

O destaque tambem este ano foi para o Museu que apresentou trabalhos de Moke-ups (bonecos) que se tornaram ícones e referências dos grandes filmes de Hollywood: Rick Baker, Robert Ramos, Greg Cannom, entre outros. Foi comemorado o aniversário de Dick Smith em seus 88 anos de vida e ainda ensinando os apaixonados pela maquiagem de efeitos.
The highlight this year also went to the Museum which made work-ups Moke (heaven) who have become icons and references to Hollywood blockbusters: Rick Baker, Robert Ramos, Greg Cannom, among others. It was celebrated the anniversary of Dick Smith in his 88 years of life and still passionate about teaching the makeup effects.
